Fifty years young, I’m an avid reader, consuming well over fifty books a year – mostly non-fiction. I have three degrees and I can speak, read, and write in four languages. I grew up normally sighted but am now registered blind having experienced severe sight loss.

I’ve always been a music lover. At school I was a DJ and I’ve since owned both a pub and a nightclub. I listen to most genres. Some of my favourites are Keb’ Mo’, Seasick Steve, and Katie Melua. I grew up as a rock lover with bands like U2, Depeche Mode, INXS, Def Leppard, Queen, and many more. Also I love classical music, of course, particularly Andrea Bocelli.

As a sports player, I love watching cricket, golf, boxing, snooker and darts. I’m also a watch collector with a passion for all things horology related.

My parents were both ballroom dancers and that’s a skill they’ve passed along to me. I’m also a great conversationalist – well-versed on most topics and always willing to listen. I have a strong sense of humour and I love a good laugh. That said, I’m very well mannered, very discreet, and will always treat you like a lady.

My favourite tipple is red wine – Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinotage to be specific. I also love single malt whiskey.

Over the years I’ve travelled the world a lot, meeting new people and exploring cultures. These days I’m based in Humberside but together we could go anywhere you’ve dreamed of subject to expenses and a notice period.
