Let’s have a conversation.

Conversations are a life art – they are the way for you and me to explore and discover each other and the world. Free flowing conversations offer a path to connection and understanding, they open new perspectives.

There are conversations with words – whether strolling around, sitting for a leisurely dinner, or comparing notes after an exciting performance or a thought-provoking show. Or traveling.

There are conversations with gentle and caring gestures – when hands do the talking and bodies enter in a dance – these intimate conversations also are about exploring and discovering.

Conversations are the salt of our lives. I will offer you a chance to delight in time spent together, by having conversations with words – and maybe with hands, if the words open the road to that.

Who am I? I am a Franco-American cultural hybrid, a highly educated (Ph.D.) nomad, an international consultant who has spent more than 15 years working in Africa. In prior lives, I have been a journalist and an entrepreneur. Now, I am a writer in progress.

I am endlessly curious and will talk with some passion about economics, ancient and modern history, art, literature, technology, psychology, philosophy, or Eastern spirituality. I will admit that I know very little about sports and tv shows.

But above all, I will want to hear what you are passionate about. What deeply resonates with you.

What would you enjoy us doing? Here are a few activities I do like: Museum wandering, horse riding, jazz club diving, eclectic dining, dinghy sailing, going to the theater or the opera, reading to each other, hiking in the wild, touring secluded places, losing ourselves in the sunset, etc.

My ambition? To help you relax, shine, and have a glorious time, be it for an official occasion, a social event or a one-on-one moment. My goal is simply to serve you, with kindness and attention.

I’m based in Washington, DC, but more than happy to travel to you given sufficient notice and expenses covered.
